[ group have a silence pause ]

Vanessa ' especially like after a girl and stuff '

Victor mumbles something about it being a laugh.

Shell ' I know but it's horrible man '

Vanessa ' ... feel uncomfortable ... if you know ... from a girls point of view it's like funny if it's to a guy ... but from a guy ... it's just a bit like ' right ' ... don't you think ? '

Stuart mumbles something.

Shell ' Hey all you guys you're like scratching your heads and going like ' big party poopers ' ... ok I'll go to bed '

[ Nadia laughs ]

Shell goes out of the room and towards the bedrooms.

Vanessa ' Shell don't be daft ... come here '

[ Victor does a little ' what the fuck is her problem ' shrug and look ]

Marco ' Shell should have said ... '

[ cam shows Shell in the bedroom ]

Victor gestures. Jason looks puzzled and interested.

Victor ' yeah but it's like it's a joke ... everyone else thought it was a joke but now I know it's serious... '

Vanessa makes ' bear groany ' noises.

Victor starts speaking ' yeah yeah ..

She says how Ahmed sees women as totally secondary citizens.

Jason ' You should just have a word with him '

Vanessa ' I wouldn't even be bothered to have a one to one because he'd fuckin shout me down ... no no ... because he's always fuckin right ... he's a dictator ... he's not even into the frame of mind of having a conversation with a woman ... and actually opening his

Victor to group ' what did you think anyway '

Camera focuses on Jason having a good old think.

The conversation starts up again ... Victor repeats how ' they didn't actually know '

She says how she can see how it's funny but Shell is getting ' anguished '

Jason ' she should have mentioned it then '

Vanessa ' she goes well if you fuckin come near me I ... '

Victor ' she does that to me as well [ gestures ] '

Jason ' I'll speak to him tomorrow '

Vanessa ' ... and she means it '

Vanessa ' ... so fucking what ... if he's got an issue with anybody else he brings it up ...'

They all laugh, Shell ( sitting with Dan ) is shrieking madly.

Vanessa says how Victor is broadminded and able to accept other peoples idas, and that with Ahmed, to him ' how things are right and how things are wrong ... it's black and white ... greys don't matter especially womens ideas ... he's made one meal in the house ... he's never washed up ... because I do feel he feels he's like beyond, above doing stuff like that '.

Vanessa ' nadia how do you feel about this '

Nadia says how he doesn't do it to her.

Vanessa reiterates how she understands how Shell feels because it's happened to her.

Shell ' it's horrible '

Victors repeats they didn't know.

Shell ' its gross ... how would you feel if that was like some 50 year old woman lusting after you who didn't find remotely ... '

[ sound cut ]

The conversation continues with Nadia saying how it would only happen once with her and Vanessa repeats how it isn't funny any longer.

Victor ' you shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable '

Vanessa says why the hell should Shell bother, and that he should know better, and that most men should know better.

Stuart is still present, and has remained silent the whole time.

She mentions the word ' not racial issues ' but ' growing up issues ' she has with Ahmed and Victor immediately ' looks ' at her, she says to him ' don't even ... not racial issues '

Vanessa [ to Victor ] ' don't take offence ... don't even ... not racial issues ... '

Dan says the word ' culture issues ' and she says ' yeah racial issues was the wrong word ... culture issues I'm having difficulty with culture issues with Ahmed ...'.

Shell ' yeah '

Vanessa ' and you guys don't because you're men ... and he's probably the ' personified male being ' woman cooks, has babies, does all the ...

Vanessa ' ... as a modern single female ... who's fighting to like get up there ... '

[ Vanessa makes a face ]

Victor ' ... he's got a lot of interesting points to make ... but I've got my own dad to look up to .... do you know what I'm saying if I'm going to look up to anyboady else ... I didn't know Shell was feeling uncomfortable I thought they were just having a laugh ... now I know that Shell feels uncomfortable I will take it upon myself yeah ... unless Jay gets there before me ... to talk to Ahmed ... and that you know ... put it across that she doesn't like it '

They discuss how it was funny at first again etc blah and that how Vanessa wanted to protect her. Dan decides to opt out of this political/nomination bomb and says he is going to go to bed, Vanessa asks him for 'a hug and a leg over ' that she's ' only joking ... he's not her type ' and he comes over and pretends to hump her as he says goodnight.

They talk about it some more and then Jason says lets stop talking about Ahmed, which they eventually do.
